In 2018, the overall pass percentage in TN SSLC exam was 94.5%. The pass percentage for girls was 96.4% and the pass percentage among male students was 92.5%.
The Tamil Nadu Board had conducted the TN class 10 examination 2019 or the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (SSLC) from 14 March -29 March, 2019.
About TN SSLC/ 10th Board
The Directorate of Government Examinations was formed as a separate Directorate in 1975 in the month of February. The first secondary school leaving certificate examination was conducted in 1911. In 1980, it started the HSC examination. Every year, nearly 7 lakhs students appear for both TN Board SSLC Exams and TN Board HSC Exams.
