AP LAWCET is a state-level exam conducted for students seeking admission in 3 year LLB and 5 year integrated LLB undergraduate program offered by various government and private law colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who have qualified the examinations are eligible to take part in the counselling process for seat allotment. Marks will be displayed on the basis of candidate’s performance in the test. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. Candidate have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in order to qualify the exam. Candidates can not make changes in the result once it will be published.
Steps to download AP LAWCET / PGLCET Result
Step 1: Go to APSCHE’s official website – sche.ap.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on AP LAWCET – 2020 tab.
Step 3: You will be direct to a new page where you will have to click on Results link.
Step 4: Enter your registration number and AP LAWCET hall ticket number.
Step 5: Press the View Result button.
Step 6: The AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET results 2020 will appear on your screen.
Step 7: Check your marks, total, qualifying status, rank before saving and downloading your scorecard.
AP LAWCET / PGLCET Qualifying Marks
The qualifying marks in LAWCET are 35 per cent marks or 42 marks out of 120 with no minimum marks for SC, ST candidates for ranking. The same is 25 per cent marks or 30 marks out of 120 for AP PGLCET candidates barring SC, ST students, as per rules. The examinations were conducted to selects students for admission in three and five year LLB courses and postgraduate LLM law courses in various recognised institutions in the state.
Counselling and seat allotment
The counselling process of AP LAWCET 2020 will be conducted on the basis of the merit list. First, the candidates have to exercise web options entry where the shortlisted candidates need to indicate their choices from the available colleges.
Then the seat allotment process will begin and, candidates can lock their allotted seat by completing verification of documents and fee payment.
