TS EAMCET III 2016 Result declared today i.e on September 15. Candidates can check Telangana State EAMCET 3 Result at the official website tseamcet.in at 5:00 PM. Candidates can check the result at the official website tseamcet.in. Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Telangana.
The EAMCET-III 2016 Exam was conducted on September 11 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad had conducted TS EAMCET 3 on September 11, 2016, on the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The test was conducted in a single shift, only for the candidates registered for EAMCET 2. Of the 56,153 registered candidates, only 40,500 downloaded their hall tickets. Out of them, over 3 thousand did not report for the test which took the attendance of the candidates to a mere 67 percent.
The ranks will be assigned to the candidates in order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75 % weightage to the marks secured in TS EAMCET 3 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the group subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
How EAMCET Percentage or Combined Score is Calculated:
As the students are aware that their Intermediate percentage (Biology, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry) marks will be taken to calculate EAMCET combined score, here is how it is calculated.
Intermediate Weightage
- If a candidate scoring 500 out of total marks 600, her/ his weightage will be calculated as follows
500/600*25=20.8333
EAMCET Weightage
Total marks of the candidates in the EAMCET will be aggregated to 100 and 75% of weightage will be calculated from that marks. For example, if the candidates score 100 marks out of 160 in EAMCET, his or her marks in EAMCET Will be
- 100/160*75=46.875.
