Jagananna Amma Odi Scheme Details

Objective of the Andhra Pradesh Govt Jagananna Amma Vodi Scheme

  1. To provide the financial support to the mother or guardian, who is below the poverty line irrespective of caste, creed, religion, and region to enable her to educate children up to the class Xll in all government, private school/colleges in the state.
  2. To modernization the 45,000 government schools, 471 junior colleges, 148-degree colleges, and hostels in the state.
  3. To revamp the infrastructure in the state’s educational institutions.
  4. The government provides a budget of ₨ 14,000 crore to the state.
  5. Use English as a medium of instruction from class 1 to 6 in all the schools in the state.
  6. This main aim of this scheme to bring changes in the education system of Andhra Pradesh.
