CISCE updated information regarding ICSE (class 10) and ISC (class 12) Remaining Exam Dates 2020. The board to conduct postponed exams only after lockdown is lifted. A notification released on 02nd May, 2020 by CISCE states that exams of ICSE Year 2020 pending 6 Papers and ISC Year 2020 pending 8 Papers shall be held within a period of 6-8 days, including Saturday and Sunday. However final revised time table will be available after the central government’s directives on COVID-19 Lockdown.

All we know that The CISCE board postponed Class 10th and 12th examinations that were scheduled between 19th and 31st March due to Corona Lockdown. Now the board is getting ready to conduct all postponed exams in the period of 6-8 days. Also the board stated that revised exam time table will be announced 8 days before the date of examinations. This time may be utilized by the schools to make all the necessary arrangements and also enable the students to revise for their subjects of remaining papers

CISCE Postponed (Pending) Subjects 2020

Both ICSE and ISC boards could not conduct the exams for these subjects due to the corona virus lockdown announced across the country. Total 14th pending exams to be held soon by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

CISCE 10th & 12th Results 2020

As for the board examination results, CISCE would be releasing the ICSE, ISC Board Exam 2020 Results within 6 to 8 weeks after the examinations are conducted. The dates and the new schedule would be released by the board on the official website and would also be emailed to the heads of all the schools.

Notification by CISCE Board

“The schools may also begin/continue online classes for them, while awaiting the conduct of the remaining papers. Similarly, the ISC students may also start/continue with preparations for the various entrance examinations during this interim period,” says CISCE.

Gerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary said, the schools could give provisional admissions to students in class 11, adding that the schools could also begin online classes for them.

“For the board level classes of 9-12, the schools may continue with teaching as per the syllabus,” he said.

CISCE Class 1st – 8th Exam Updates

The Council has also directed schools to continue with the teaching process in the meantime using technologies available. For classes 1-8, the curriculum may be transacted using fun and creative lessons. For the board level classes of 9 to 12, the schools can continue to teach as per the respective syllabuses. Teachers, the Council said, can use this time to clear the doubts of the students in the subjects for which the exam is yet to be conducted.

CISCE 11th Class Provisional Admissions

Schools have been advised to continue with the online classes. The board has advised ICSE Students to start with the online classes for their Class 11th (promotional admission).

The Council said that schools may give provisional admission to students in class 11, subject to the board results.
