NTSE Stage 2 Hall Ticket 2020: In an advertisement NCERT announced that that delayed NTSE Hall tickets and Exam scheduled for May 10th, 2020 in all the States/UTs of the country has been Postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The new date will be intimated later on after the Corona Lockdown is cleared. Therefore NCERT also informed all the candidates to contact Liaison Officer of your State or NCERT website for updates.
NTSE Stage 2 Hall Ticket 2020 (Delayed)
The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) hall tickets 2020 for Stage-II examination is postponed in all States of India. Candidates can download state wise exam admit cards from their respective websites. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will release hall tickets for Level-II NTSE exam in all the 36 States/UTs of the country.

NCERT conducted NTSE Stage 1 Examination on November 2, 3 and 17, 2019. All the candidates who qualified in Stage-I have to appear Stage 2 exam. But State-2 exam which is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2020 is postponed now. The new hall ticket download date and exam date will be declared shortly at www.ncert.nic.in.
NTSE Stage-I & Stage-II exam updates 2020
his NTSE is for the scholarships of the students organizing by the NCERT. The candidates who are qualified in NTSE Stage 1 exam are eligible for NTSE Stage 2 Exam. Successful candidates of NTS Stage-I examination whose names have been recommended by the States/UTs may download E-Admit Card
All the Indian students who are studying in abroad can appear stage-2 exam and will compete with the Indian students for the NTSE prestigious scholarship.

Exam Instruction For NTSE Exam
- Bring the admit card at the examination hall and reach at the center at least 1 hour before the exam started.
- Only pens/ pencil and water bottle are allowed at the examination hall.
- Use of any of the electronic items at the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
Documents to Carry with Admit Card for NTSE 2020 Exam
Candidates appearing for the NTSE 2020 exam must bring an ID proof along with the Admit Card. Any document other than the Admit Card and the ID Proof will be not be accepted inside the examination hall or at the test centre. There are a number of documents that can serve as identity proof for the test takers of NTSE 2020. A list of these documents is given below for the candidates.

Exam Pattern
- The papers are conducted through offline mode only and have objective type questions only.
- For both stages, exam is divided into two parts i.e. Mental Ability Test (MAT), and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
- The pattern of written examination at State / UT level is as follows:

There will be no negative marking in Stage 2.
NCERT NTSE Scholarship 2020
Every year around 1,200,000 to 1,400,000 students appear for the examination, while only 5000 students are selected for stage 2. Out of these 5000 students only 1000 candidates are selected for the scholarship.
Scholarship: one thousand scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as follows:
- Scholarship of Rs.1250/- per month for Class-XI to XII.
- Scholarship of Rs.2000/- per month for Undergraduates and Post-graduates.
- Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. is fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.
Reservation:
a) 15% for students belonging to the SC category,
b) 7.5% for students belonging to the ST category and
c) 3% for Physically Challenged Group of Students.
