The official AP TET 2022 notification issued by APCFSS. Fee payment and online applications starts from June 15. The Last date for registrations is June 15, 2022. Candidates should apply online from cse.ap.gov.in or aptet.apcfss.in websites only. No candidate is allowed for Edit / Modify the application once submitted. AP TET 2022 exams are scheduled from August 06 to 21. Candidates should note that this is a Computer Based Test (CBT). For eligibility, syllabus, exam fee, application process check below.

AP TET 2022 Notification Details

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET 2022) will be conducted by Department of School Education in all Districts of AP through a Computer Based Test. This is the eligibility test for candidates seeking teacher jobs in Government, MandalParishad, ZillaParishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private un-aided schools etc., under the control of Andhra Pradesh State for classes I to VIII.

The eligibility criteria for candidates:

Candidates can go through the entire information bulletin released on the official website – aptet.apcfss.in for detailed information on fee, criteria, dates and so on.

For paper-I A (Classes I to V):

  1. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)
  2. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), Regulations, 2002 (or)
  3. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
  4. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (or)
  5. Graduation and two year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)
  6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (or) Post Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and threeyear integrated B.Ed/M.Ed.

For paper-I B (Classes I to V):

  • Intermediate/ Senior Secondary and two year D.Ed. Special Education in any of the category of disability
    (or) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary and one year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the category of disability. (or)
  • Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (or)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
  • Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
  • (Or) Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf.
  • (Or) Primary level Teacher Training course in Visual Impairment.
  • (Or) Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) / Diploma in Vocational Training and Employment – Mental Retardation (DVTE-MR) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
  • (Or) Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
  • (Or) Intermediate/Senior Secondary passed with any RCI recognized qualification of minimum one year duration and 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
  • (Or) Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI. 

Paper 2 A

  • At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post Graduation with B.Ed., (or)
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. (or)
  • Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) (or)
  • Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A./B.Sc. Ed. or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
    (or)
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) (or)
  •  Post Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed .

Paper 2 B

Graduate with B.Ed.(Special Education)/ B.Ed.(General) with one year Diploma in Special Education / B.Ed. (General) with two years Diploma in Special Education / B.Ed.(General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (PGDC) / PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation) / PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability :Physical & Neurological) / PG Diploma in Special Education (Locomotor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy) / Secondary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment / Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf / BA B.Ed. in Visual impairment/ Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.

Examination Fee & Payment Dates

The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of computer based examination is Rs.500/- for each Paper-I (A), (B), Paper-II (A), (B) separately. Candidates shall pay the fee through payment Gateway from15.06.2022 to 15.07.2022 and submit online application at the APTET website http://cse.ap.gov.in from 16.06.2022 to 16.07.2022.

Note: If the candidate desires to apply for all papers he/she has to pay Rs.500/- for each paper separately.

AP TET Exam Schedule 2022

AP TET exam is scheduled to be held from August 06 to 21st, 2022. The duration for each exam is 02:30 Hours. APTET will be conducted in four parts:

  • Paper 1 A – For Category I to V Class
  • Paper 1 B – For I to V classes in respect of Special Education
  • Paper 2 A – For classes VI to VIII
  • Paper 2 B  – For classes VI to VIII in respect of Special Education Teachers

The AP TET 2022 examination will be held online in various locations in Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Odisha.
